Tollefsen and Evans could not finish the stage within the race time control. A technical difficulty thwarted their best efforts to make it in time. They are therefore out of the rally. Thats racing!

By 10pm only 7 cars had made it to the Bivouac. Tollefsen and Evans had 2 punctures and a spell of getting stuck! Banyard and Hammond finished servicing the car at 2am before leaving for the next Bivouac at 5am!
